has a story.

who we are

I’m Ming, the founder and designer behind the brand.

EchoByJMG exists to give leftover luxury yarns a second, beautiful life.
From our family-run factory, we rescue premium surplus cones from past productions — the colours, blends and textures too precious to waste — and recompose them into limited-edition pieces for the home.

Every design begins with what’s been saved: we sort, match and re-colour the leftover yarns, then knit in small, intentional batches so nothing is made in excess and every piece keeps its quiet individuality. The result is knitwear that feels refined yet responsible — crafted to be kept, not replaced.

Rooted in three generations of knit expertise and a European design sensibility, EchoByJMG proves that sustainability isn’t a label; it’s a method. We don’t just reduce waste — we transform it into joy.

Thank you for joining us in reimagine what sustainable beauty can be!

RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURER

ORGANIC STANDARD

Our Organic Content Standard (OCS) certification guarantees that every piece containing organic fibres in our collections is independently verified; from raw material to finished product.

We choose organic cotton and sustainable wool sourced through trusted suppliers who follow ethical farming and manufacturing processes. This ensures that our textiles meet strict international sustainability standards while remaining gentle on the planet and kind to the people who make them.

RECYCLED STANDARD

We are certified under the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), confirming that the yarns we use are made from verified recycled materials.

Much of our collection is crafted using leftover yarns; giving new life to what would otherwise become waste.

This not only diverts valuable materials from landfills but also reduces the need for new fibre production, helping to lower our carbon footprint with every design we make.

Committed to a greener future

We're proud to partner with WWF Hong Kong to support environmental conservation efforts. As part of our commitment to sustainability, 2% of all profits are allocated directly to tree planting initiatives, helping to restore forests, combat climate change, and protect biodiversity.

Our operations are designed to be carbon-neutral, and we continually seek ways to reduce our environmental footprint.

By choosing us, you're not just making a purchase, you're investing in a healthier planet. Together, we grow a greener tomorrow.
